Welcome to Art In Motion Dance & Fitness! Our dance studio is located on Route 42 in Turnersville, Washington Township, NJ just minutes away from the Gloucester Shopping Outlets.  Art In Motion is not just a dance studio; we are a family. We are a community of people joined together by a passion for dance, creativity, health & wellness, and we have tons of fun together. We believe that dance is a gift from God, given to all of us as a way to express the heart and delight the soul. 

 

We specialize in Latin dance including Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha Cha, Merengue, Latin Hustle, and Zumba. We also teach Afro Latin Dance, Hip Hop, Ballet, Dance Fitness, and other types of dances and fitness classes. Our spacious and bright facility allows for us to offer a large weekly class schedule, so you'll never run out of classes to try! With a family friendly environment, and insanely talented instructors, we offer instruction to all levels and ages.

 

Our studio is fun, exciting, and encompassed by a culture that is welcoming, inclusive and safe.  We welcome all people, from all backgrounds, religions, genders and ethnicities. We believe that every student deserve the opportunity for exceptional dance training and to explore their passion to their maximum potential, whether it's for recreation or competition.

With over 21 years of experience traveling the world teaching and performing, world renown Latin Dance Champion, Darlin Garcia(Owner and Artistic Director) founded this dance studio with a desire to share his knowledge and love of dance with the community.  It is his belief that anyone with a willing attitude can learn to dance, even if you claim to have two left feet!  Our instructors are chosen and trained by 5XWorld  Latin Dance Champion, Darlin Garcia, on the most effective method of teaching.  They are not only amazing instructors, but incredible human beings who love to share their passion with our students and families.

Our beginner level courses are structured to follow a progressive curriculum of 8 weeks, which allows for you to build a solid foundation and understanding of the dance. Each class is a building block for the next class. We believe that if you follow our syllabus from beginning to end, you will have a complete knowledge and be capable of executing the dance at any level.

Our goal is to provide each student that walks through our doors an experience that will be memorable, meaningful, and loads of fun. Whether you are training to be a competitive dancer, take class regularly, or have never even danced a step, Art In Motion has a place especially for you.
